Basic dramaturgy training from 2010 to 2013 with Margit Rogall. Subsequently, an acting degree at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre and an Erasmus semester at the École Supérieure d'Art Dramatique in Paris. Graduated with the thesis “A Plea for the Untried – The Artistic Value of Untrodden Paths” and awarded the Caspar David Friedrich Scholarship. This allows, in the first year of work, a focus on projects that are genuinely interesting, independent of fees. Juggling between theatre and film.

Also in 2022, together with Valerie Stoll, publishing of the book »Hurry Up And Wait« featuring their analogue photographs, released by Verlag Kettler.
Madonna, lass mich fallen in tiefen Schacht.
Nur einmal noch behütet sein.
Lieb mich von allen Sünden rein.
Sieh, ich hab manche Nacht gewacht!

Truth can only be invented. | I’ve never been ashamed of a circle or a triangle.

The victim who is able to articulate the situation of the victim has ceased to be a victim: he or she has become a threat. | Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it.

Kaum hingezeichnet wie auf einem Schattenbild.

is always a bit complicated. I grew up in a household where people from various countries and cultural backgrounds met for coffee. The trees in the garden were both a retreat and a playground, and the best spot for reading. I spent my childhood in Switzerland, then moved to Berlin at 15 to “learn proper German,” spent some time attending school in New Plymouth (New Zealand), learned surfing and Spanish in Santander (Spain), and developed a passion for Ludwig Wittgenstein’s theories during my summer holidays in Lausanne (Switzerland). I briefly studied Gender Studies, English, and Social Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Then I completed my acting diploma in Rostock (Germany) and spent a semester at the ESAD drama school in Paris.
Returned to Berlin because, where else would I go? My parents work in nursing and at an office for asylum seekers. Dogs, cats, and sheep have always been close to me, and I generally get along well with cows too. I feel at home when I hear multiple languages at once and/or have animals nearby.
Writing and acting are closely related to me. In both professions, I empathise with different characters. I search for their ambiguities, their delicate sides, and points of friction. In both processes, I am focused on a challenge and engagement with the present.
Acting and writing have always gone hand in hand for me. During my acting studies, I began working with texts and dramatic arcs. One benefits from the other. This remains a part of my professional practice.

The moment I realised that a single lifetime is too short to become a doctor, a nun, a bank robber, a pilot, and a fire-breathing knife thrower, I decided to become an actress. In this profession, I could not only explore new facets of myself with every role but also contradict myself, discard what I had previously learned, and lavishly expend my resources.
When I think of acting, I am still filled with a sense of gratitude and inevitability. At the same time, certain structures within the industry bore me. For me, acting is rooted in collaboration. This applies to fellow acting colleagues as well as to directors, the camera, lighting, set design, and costume departments, the makeup artists, and the audience. Above all, it’s about artistic exchange and interpersonal trust.
Analogue photography has been with me since I was a child. In Ticino, the southern part of Switzerland, I gathered my first guided experiences in photographing and developing film around the year 2000. At that time, my main subjects were waterfalls and cross spiders. Since then, I have come to focus more on people in moments of transit.
For me, photography is a way of capturing and passing on. I find the connection with societal issues both natural and important.
